RETREATS

UK MAY RETREAT

Join us this early May Bank Holiday for a tranquil countryside retreat.

I recently attended my first yoga retreat run by Louise. It was a great experience and amazing to get to know other people from her classes, as well as experience her vinyasa practices and meditations. I have attended various classes at different, well-known studios and Louise is my favourite teacher. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced student I would highly encourage you to try one of Louise’s classes.

High up in the atlas mountains, the enchanting Kasbah Bab Ourika overlooks a breathtaking landscape.

From your hilltop lookout at the apex of the ourika valley a feast of natural beauty waits to melt your heart. Gaze down to the river and let the olive groves, oranges and lemons lead your eyes on a colourful dance between the green fields all the way up to snowy mountain peaks dazzling in the sunlight.

The authentic charm of the Kasbah Bab Ourika makes relaxation easy. whether you’re chilling in your individually decorated room, or unwinding by the secluded swimming pool, get ready to be warmed by the yummy moroccan sun from dawn till dusk.

In Morocco we practice 2-3 hours of yoga a day, we hike, do a cooking course and just chill out by the beautiful pool or in any of the gorgeous areas designed to calm and restore.

Companies such as Holder 8, Yogi Tea, Absolute Aromas sponsor my retreats, providing goodies for the guests to enjoy.

My daughter and I joined Louise’s yoga retreat in the Atlas Mountains. The hotel was a gorgeous, peaceful oasis, with glorious views, a perfect place to find secluded patios for our yoga practice. We even had one practice on the rooftop. Yoga took place at 8.15am and 5pm. One evening we had a workshop, allowing us to perfect our poses and try out some new ones – headstands and crows all round! Louise had also arranged a couple of spectacular hikes and a cookery session at a nearby farmhouse, leaving just enough time to relax by the pool for an hour or two each day. We left feeling relaxed, healthy and happy – and eager to sign up for her next retreat!
