peak ski season
Saturday 18th - Thursday 23rd January 2025
The retreat intention is to provide you with a peaceful sanctuary to dive deeper into yoga and meditation, whilst providing the platform for you to head off into the mountains to ski, hike, cross country ski, snow shoe or any other activity that takes your fancy. Although the retreat is not designed around organising the mountain activities, I will be available to help you with the best places for ski hire and ski pass. I will be heading out for hikes daily so anyone who is more interested in mountain walking than skiing can join me.
Those people who wish to ski can head off to explore Evasion de Mont Blanc, which includes St Gervias, Megève and Les Contamines-Montjoie.
For the keen walkers there are many gorgeous routes to explore, leading us high up the breathtaking mountains of the Alps.
There's an afternoon dedicated to relaxing in the Thermal Spa, a lunch at the cosy Refuge de Porcherey as well as an evening meal out at the incredible Ferme de Cupelin.
GETTING THERE
Arrival will be on Saturday 18th January 2025. If you are driving, you can come straight to the chalet.
If you are taking a flight, you will need to fly to Geneva.
There are currently return flights from Gatwick for £67. You can also fly from Heathrow or for those from Hampshire, you might prefer to travel from Southampton. Please note; in order to get a transfer you must arrive/depart for the transfer times stated below:
Airport transfers are included. You must arrive into Geneva for a 1pm transfer (french time) in order to get the minivan. On the return journey, the transfer will leave from the chalet after brunch at 12 noon. There are plenty of afternoon slights leaving from Geneva airport.
FOOD
Our chef for the week is Ed, who will be making warming soups with seasonal salads for lunch, followed by nourishing suppers in the evenings. On our first night Ed will be in-house serving a welcome meal.
Throughout the week there will be two meals out at some of the most delicious Alpine restaurants around. These are included in the cost of the retreat (excluding alcohol).

The cost below includes:
Accommodation, airport transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, all yoga classes, workshops and meditation, Thermal Spa, Lunch at Refuge de Porcherey, Dinner at Ferme de Cupelin (excluding alcohol) and all tea/coffee + snacks.
All bedrooms are en-suite.

The Chalet is just 3km outside of St Gervais Les Bains, 11km from Megève and 25km from Chamonix. It is set just off the road and surrounded by other lovely private chalets. There is a garden off to the right of the chalet, as well as the decking at the back.
Walking into St Gervais town is lovely. For other activities or trips we will provide transport.
DAILY ITINERARY
This will vary from day to day but this will give you an idea of what the days will look like…
7:30am Tea/Coffee and Fruit available
8am - Morning Yoga and Meditation Practice (90 minutes)
10am - Breakfast
Free Time: skiing, hiking, resting etc
1:30pm - Lunch available at the chalet
Free time
5:30pm - Yoga Practice (60 minutes)
7:30pm - Drinks and dinner
Hot tub/sauna available afternoon and evening.

We require a £500 deposit to secure your place. The remainder will be due 60 days before the retreat. Only when the deposit has been paid will your place be secured.
The deposit is non-refundable.
